Hello, and welcome to outtherelivin.com! I’m glad you’re here! I hope you enjoy your visit! This site is dedicated to promoting togetherness and camaraderie with family and friends as manifested through living the outdoor lifestyle.

Now, that’s a pretty broad statement, you may be thinking to yourself and you would be correct. The outdoor lifestyle encompasses quite a broad spectrum and provides countless opportunities to get out there and experience all that it has to offer. Isn’t that awesome!!!?

So who am I and what makes me an expert on outdoor living you  may ask? The answer to that is really quite simple. My name is Lee Lancaster and I consider myself to be an expert on absolutely nothing! That’s right. Pick a topic and there are plenty of people out there who are much more knowledgeable on the subject than me. I do, however, know what I am passionate about and that is what has driven me to create this blog.

I was born and raised in The South ( that’s right, The South is a proper noun ) , and as a “good ole Southern boy”, a good portion of my life has been spent either in the woods or on the water hunting or fishing, two hobbies that I am definitely passionate about. I am also passionate about all things BBQ and anything to do with grilling or cooking outdoors. I am passionate about hiking, camping, riding ATV’s, or just spending time with family and friends at our mountain cabin.

I guess that when it comes right down to it, I am just plain passionate about being outside and about sharing my outdoor experiences and adventures with others and listening as they share theirs with me.
